The purpose of the Museum:  Present to the public historical items and events relating to the Ōtorohanga district for education and enjoyment.

We are at present digitalizing our collection.   
Due to limited space and man power, we are limited on what we are able to accept as gifts at the present time.  
Items we are looking for:
* High quality photos of the district (and special local events) to replace those that have faded over time
* Covid - 19, items that will play a significant part in future displays
*  Books written by local authors.  

If you have an item you believe to be of high significance to the Ōtorohanga District that you believe the Museum would like in it's collection, then please email [email protected] with full description of item, photos if possible, and provenance  (include your phone number if possible).  One of the staff or a museum representative will contact you as soon as possible.
